Group buy & pool rules

These rules describe how shared subscription groups work on ShareMeSub. Timing and fees follow the host’s listing and checkout; confirm details before you pay.

  • Seats & availability

Each group has a limited number of seats. Slots are usually filled first come, first served. When full, you may be able to join a waitlist if the host offers one—you’ll be notified if a seat opens.

  • Payments & escrow

Member payments follow the same protected checkout as other orders. Funds can be held in escrow until delivery is confirmed, so hosts are incentivized to provide working access and members are not left without recourse.

  • Renewals & billing

The host is responsible for renewing the underlying subscription. Members pay their share according to the listing (cycle, price, and any auto-renew flag). If a renewal fails, the group may enter a short grace period before access is at risk—check messages from the host and platform notifications.

  • Access & fair use

Credentials or invites are for personal use within the limits the host sets. Abuse, resale, or sharing outside the group can lead to removal without refund and may affect your account standing.

  • Payouts to hosts

After buyers confirm delivery (or when escrow rules allow release), pooled amounts are settled to the host minus the platform fee shown at checkout. Payout timing may depend on verification, payment method, and dispute status.

  • Disputes & refunds

If access doesn’t work or delivery is late, open a dispute or refund request from your order. Our team may pause payout while reviewing evidence from both sides. Decisions follow the order’s status and recorded messages.
